Sadly, my grandmother has passed away before I was able to track down the family members she inquired about.
PATRICIA TRUDELL - COCOA BEACH Patricia Boyea Trudell, 79, of Mercy House in Cocoa Beach, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Malone, NY on July 31, 1926 to Charles and Mabel Boyea and retired from the Singer Sewing Company after working there for 30 years. Mrs. Trudell had a passion for singing and was active with the sweet Adelines in both Syra cuse, NY and Cocoa, FL for over 40 years. She was also active with Our Saviours Chapel Perpetual Adoration and was a Eucharistic Minister, dispensing the Holy Eucharist to shut ins from St. Marys Church. She enjoyed fishing and had a love of wildlife, especially squirrels, ospreys and owls. Her husband, James F. Trudell, passed away in 1999. She is survived by her son, Charles Trudell of Syracuse, NY; a daughter, Terry Rose and son in law, Al of Fruit Cove, FL; two grandchildren, Patty Trudell of Watertown, NY and Charlie Trudell, currently serving in the US Army in Afghanistan; two great grandchildren, Lauren and Jonah; two brothers, John Boyea of Middletown, NY and Ray Boyea of Newburgh, NY and a sister, Betty Sayles of Saranac Lake, NY. Six siblings preceded her in death. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 4:30 p.m., at Church of Our Saviour in Cocoa Beach. A reception will follow the mass at the Mercy House. The family has requested that donations be made to the Flori da Wildlife Hospital, 4560 US 1 North, Melbourne, FL 32935. Arrangements are entrusted to East Coast cremation, Rock ledge 632-1350.
