My husband is Randy Brock. His father has told me that they believe the spelling of the name was changed when hisgreat-grandfather, Wilhelm Brock, b.abt 1824 m. Dorathea Hubfield/Hupfeld b. abt 1826 arrived in 1854, since their son Wiliam Brock was born in New York in May 1855.His son is Earnst Christian Brock, his son Everett Brock is my father-in-law, Gary Parker Brock's father. All were born in NY since arriving from Germany, but moved to Dallas when Gary was a child. My husband was born and raised in Idaho.
If any of this sounds familiar, let me know....I'm desperate!!!
