It has been many years since anything has been posted on this website about the "Breed Family" generation. As I was working on a project with my daughter today regarding the American Revolutionary War, I discovered through my mother and sister, we have possession of a family book, very thick that covers most of the history leading back to The Battle of Bunker Hill, "Breed's Hill". I am a descendant of John Breed of Stonington, Joseph Breed, etc. leading back to as follows: My Great Grandmother was Francis Cordelia Breed, her father was Richard Jackson Breed and his father was Joseph Breed b. 1806 and his grandfather, I believe was Allen Breed b. 8/29/1714.I have a gap leading to Captain John Breed who was too old to fight in the American Revolutionary War so he assigned his son John Breed, Jr. to lead the soldiers in the War. There are so many Breeds, but I found some history with a pic of my great grandmother "Francis Cordelia Breed" they called her Fannie. Here is the link. http://meltingpot.fortunecity.com/alaska/228/kalito5.htmlhttp://meltingpot.fortunecity.com/alaska/228/kalito5.html
