This sounds like it could be the family. There is an old "Slappy Bible" with "Brewer' names recorded in it.I do not know who has the original but sure would like to.These are the names:John Samuel Brewer, b 1804, Olif Brewer, b 1798, Sarah Brewer, b 1800, Eli Brewer, ?, English, b 1806. This was found in Wilkinson Co., I think in theHistory of Wilkinson Co., by Davidson.John Brewer married Henrietta Slappy Feb. 7, 1826 in Wilkinson Co.He is probably the John Samuel Brewer listed in the bible.I am looking for Elizabeth Brewer, b ca 1808, Ga.Married 1825 in Wilkinson Co., Ga. to Irvin Lambert.I had originally thought the "Eli" in the bible might be her. But it could and probably is "Ely".Does this fit your family?
