I've been unable to locate any of Margaret Brewer's marriage bonds/certs, whatever. Because Hanccock is a burned county (1939 the last time, I believe) so I may never actually locate the exact dates. Not having much luck with old family records.
My great aunt Bobbie, who was the oldest child of Margaret and Joe Guinn, was b. 1899, so I assume they were married sometime around 1897-98.
As for Harmon Cope, I don't really know too much about the story, just that he was shot dead off his horse in front of Luther post office. It seems that every third person in Hancock Co. managed to get shot during that era. I keep meaning to find out more, but somehow don't seem to get around to it. I'll let you know when I finally manage it.
Meanwhile, I guess Joe Guinn should be listed as the preferred spouse, since she was married to him longer and had more children with him.But he was definitely the second husband.
