I am not sure of the proof That George Brewer's second wife was Alice Burwell. However, Burwell is an unusual name and it was common for a man to name one of his sons after his wifes maiden name.
Burwell definitely die in 1799 for I have copies of his estate records which coer years up to 1810 I beleive. The administrator of his estate was William Brewer whom we believe was a son.Burwell's wife was Elizabeth Patrick for he migrated to Ga with her fathers family. I beleive this is referenced in a book written on the Paschall family, I would have to check my notes.
Burwell had a few minor sons when he died who were indentured to learn a trade at his death. The sons referenced are, Patrick, John and Bledsoe. There is reference I beleive to some daughters but I would have to check the records. The estate papers are over 40 pages long and contained some interesting information concerning some of the sons.
I am suposably related to Burwell through one of William's sons. However, I question some of the data I have received. It is not a line I frequently work on but plan to do so in the next year or so.
