Margaret Adeline Brewer married my Great Grandfather's older brother, James C. Brewer.Through my cousins I have connected this family little by little.I have the more recent generations with the exception of the female part of the line.
James Calaway "Bob" Brewer married Margaret Brewer in the late 1860's or early 1870's. They had six children, Nancy the oldest born in 1872 and Ben the youngest born in 1889.The three older children were born in Tennessee and the younger three were born in Texas. Both James C. and Margaret A. Brewer are buried in Azle, Parker County, Texas in the Ashcreek Cemetery.Azle is located on the Parker/Tarrant County line.About 30 miles Northwest of Fort Worth, Texas.Others of the Brewer Family are buried in Jaybird Cemetery, in Reno, Parker County, Texas and The Springtown Cemetery in Springtown, Parker County, Texas.
If you are interested I'll send you information on the children.Becky Stewart provided me with some of the John Jacky Brewer line.I think that you will find that James C and Margaret A. Brewer were married in McNairy County, Tennessee.James was not with the family in the 1870 census.I havn't checked the John Jacky family yet to see if Margaret was living with the family in 1870.She is about 4 years older than James.
I would like to communicate with you and kick this around some and see if we can figure out any additional facts. All the ladies researching that part of Tennessee have been very helpful.I will have to make a trip to McNairy county before long.Anything you might need from the middle of Texas let me know and I'll see if I can find it for you.
