Kevin: I became interested after reading your posting, so I decided to do a little detective work. That which follows is the net result: Henry C Russell and Elizabeth Brewer were married about 1850 in Dunlap, Sequatchie Co., TN where records indicate both of them came from.According to those same records, they had the following children: Peter, born 29 June 1851 in Dunlap, TN John, born 18 August 1853 in Dunlap James, born 3 January 1856 in Dunlap Henry C., born 13 July 1858 in Dunlap Elizabeth, born 13 December 1861 in Dunlap Elijah Beverly, born 1866 in TN
I don't know where your Fannie, Lisa or France comes from.
Henry C Russell was born 24 July 1830 in Dunlap, TN the son of John J Russell and Rhoda Newberry [Newbury].Elizabeth Brewer was also recorded as born in Dunlap, TN but her parents were not listed. In truth, she could be the daughter of Wiley Brewer and Margaret Cockman, or even the daughter of Berryman Brewer and Sarah Carter, to name a few.
John J Russell and Rhoda Berryman were married in Dunlap, TN on 8 August 1805 and proceeded to have a flock of children [probably due to their young age] Abner, born 26 January 1806 Dunlap- a tad early... Jemima, born 5 August 1808 Dunlap Stephen, born 16 April 1811 Dunlap Rachel M., born 17 May 1813 Dunlap King David C., born 17 April 1815 Dunlap Elizabeth C. H., born 22 August 1817 Dunlap John J., born 2 December 1819 Dunlap Moses S., born 19 October 1822 Dunlap Susannah J., born 22 January 1825 Dunlap Rhoda J., born 22 February 1827 Dunlap Lucy, born 29 March 1829 Dunlap Henry C Veraninal A. O. born 11 November 1832 Dunlap Sarah M., born 29 August 1833 14 children at last count.
John J Russell was born 18 July 1785 in Jefferson, TN the son of [Captain] Andrew Russell and Margaret Christian, while Rhoda Newberry was born in 1790 in Marion, TN - her parents were not listed. As you can see, John was 20 and Rhoda was 15 at the time of their marriage.
I made no effort to proceed further, but hope that all of the above will prove useful to you in your genealogical research.
