I guess I get to be the first posting on this new board.Here is my direct Briggle line.Not all of the people who I am listing spelled the name Briggle, but I am using that spelling for conformity.Some variations are Brigle, Breigel and Breigal.Please post your lines.
1.? Briggle, born about 1757, married Catherine ? who died 2/18/1838.
2.John (or Johann) Michael Briggle, born 1770, married to Maria Rosina ? who was born 1773.They arrived in Pennsylvania in 1805 onboard the ship Verney.
3.John (or Johann/Johannes George) Briggle, born 1/11/1797 in Germany, died 1/29/1884 in Ashland County, Ohio, married Catharine Leininger (or Lininger/Lyinger) born 9/21/1799 in Shiremanstown, PA and died 3/29/1873 in Ashland County, Ohio.
4.George Briggle, born 12/23/1821 in PA, died 8/28/1879 in Blairstown, Iowa, married Sarah A. Bowermaster who was born 10/23/1819 in PA and died 2/21/1889 in Ireton, Iowa.
5.Leander Harman Briggle, born 10/20/1856 in Iowa and died 10/7/1941 in Hazelton, North Dakota.He married Clara De Ette Colvin born 2/10/1858 in PA and died 4/8/1895 in Ireton, Iowa.
6.Ladelle Hartley Briggle, born 6/5/1891 in Ireton, Iowa and died 11/26/1977 in Strawsburg, North Dakota.He married Lulu May Wilson, born 4/27/1890 in Monango, North Dakota and died 3/17/1935 in Hazelton, North Dakota.
7.Lenna Adelle Briggle, born 3/7/1918 in Oakes, North Dakota and still living.She married Jacob Esch, born 6/22/1911 in Hazelton, North Dakota and died 11/25/1994 in Portland OR.
8.Timothy Lee Esch (me) born 10/1/1952 in Portland OR.
