I am member of large BrightBrite Reunion group of related BrightBrite families who came from Allen Co. KY to Lawrence Co. MO where KY Brights settled 1-2 generatons after leaving Spartenburg Co SC with Pruitt families.
Named families you mentioned are known for intermarriages, (1 or more siblings of 1 family married 1 or more siblings of 2d family).
Mt Vernon Justice Center has 1856 Estate/Will of Albertus Bright naming his children as heirs. He had a brother George who married Nancy Burton. Manual Burton Brite is Albert's GS who married Phoebe Landers, had 8 or more children.
Your William Bright is probably related to Lawrence County Bright families who first came 1840's from Allen Co. KY.
