Harry and Allen Brindley of Des Moines, Iowa, were working at Naperville. The former had word of the serious illness of his family, and the two concluded to save expenses by beating their way home. Allen landed safe and sound on the coupling of a train out of Aurora, but Harry missed his hold and fell, the train cutting him in two. When found he had gripped in his hand the message telling of the illness of his wife and babies at home. He was a man about 30 years of age. The "Q" agent at Aurora found the body Monday evening shortly after the accident. Allen rode on unconscious of his brother's fate.
