Battle of Shrewsbury
The following is from a book called War and Society in Medieval Cheshire 1277 – 1403 by Philip Morgan: LORDSHIP AND SOCIETY
Table 3:Agricultural production on the estates of the military community, 1403.
There is a list of names in the table including Peter, son of Robert Brundeley (Brindley). Next to the names there is a quantity of Livestock and Arable acreage which tells us that Peter Brundeley had 2 Oxen, Cows or Bullocks, 2 Horses or Mares, 2 Pigs, 4 acres of Wheat and 6 acres of Oats.
Peter also forfeited lands after the Battle of Shrewsbury when he had chosen the wrong side against Henry IV.
