Davis,
I don't know the connection, if any, between Solomon & John Brintle.John stayed in Marshall County, while Solomon was in Bedford County in 1840 & 1850, in Marshall County in 1860, though not necessarily close to John, and then back in Bedford County by 1870.They are close to the same age, and both named a son James and a daughter Susan, but beyond these circumstances I have not found a connection.I have tried to tie John to the Chesterfield County, Virginia Brintles, while I have always thought Solomon might tie to an older Solomon Brintle of Caswell County, North Carolina. But I would like to know more about the cemetery not far from where you live. Are you familiar with the cemetery by the Old Ebenezer Methodist Episcopal Church in Ebenezer Hollow in Marshall County?Though the graves are apparently unmarked, this is said to be the family cemetery of John & Sarah Brintle.Send an e-mail if you would like to compare notes.
