This comp was ordered to ? by Brig Gen Knipe Jan 1, 1864.During our absents the Guerrillas came into Tracy City, killed two Captains and two privates, burned the depot, engine house and works at Coal Banks and left without the loss of a man, two wounded.The place was then 10 garrison one by only one small Co infantry now by two companies of infantry and one of cavalry.
