Tina,
I realize your posted question is six and a half years old, but I thought I'd reply anyway.I'm a descendant of Martha Brocas and John Veazey.I have an extensive tree of the descendants of this couple, which I'd be happy to share.I also have several lines of Martha's anscestry traced back in some cases between 500 and a thousand years before her.She is the daughter of William Brocas and Eleanor Eltonhead.Eleanor is a direct descendant of the Plantagenet kings of England; the last King from whom she is directly descended was Edward I.This means she was also a descendant of the Medieval kings of France, Spain, the Norman Dukes including William the Conqueror, and Charlemagne.
William Brocas' family tree goes back along paternal lines to many knights of the middle ages, and many had close ties to the Plantagenet kings. One mixed line of ancestry goes back to Aethelred the Unready and the other Saxon kings of England. There are several gaps in my Brocas line, which I was hoping to find help with here, but it seems there aren't many people who have found that family name in their histories.
Please let me know if there's any information I can help you with.
