I agree with all that you say. It remains for a more able and better located researcher than I to lift the fog of uncertainty from the origins of John Brockett. I am glad and proud to say that I am his descendant regardless of his prior source. My original goal in Genealogy was to find all my original immigrant ancestors on both sides of the family. I include my wife,s family too. For both of us this goes back to the 1600s or at least early 1700s in any direction so the challenge is a good one. English, Scottish and Welch connections beyond that are a great bonus, but I don't measure success by them. In the final analysis, it's all great fun! Thanks again.
