Origin of the Broomhead's
The Broomhead's of Huntingdonshire, and Yorkshire, England in the 1200's had estates in the Sheffield district.
The name over time having many spellings some being Brummett, spelled in many ways as the family spread out in America.
You may find some help if you want to check out the Brummett Genforum, if you have a copy of the Coat of Arms for the Broomhead family please do share.
Thanks, Nell
