Hi Jerry
Tried to e-mail but it got returned
I have seen Jette's info as well as other published indexes, I use these as a road map of where to look for original documents or primary source info. Have found the indexes to contain many errors.
Would you happen to know if there are any records about men of Quebec going to Louisiana about 1745-1750 time period. Have found Jean Baptiste BROUILLARD in Louisiana being discharge from military service having served from 1747 till August 1750. Have gone over parish records of St. Michel D'Yamaska for same time period and my Jean Baptiste is never mentioned. Just a thought he may have been gone.
FYI: I have GEDCOM'ed every person in St. Michel D'Yamaska from 1718-1825 so far.
