You said that the parents of Joseph Louis Brousseau is Théophile B. and Léda Rhéaume.
In my list, there are ten marriages before the one of Théophile Brousseau, these are the ones of the preceding generations, back to the French ancestor Julien Brosseau (first in the list). Some of those mentioned married twice and their second marriage are marked vf, this is the abreviation for veuf, that means widower of.

I reproduce with more details what I wrote for the marriage of Theophile :
Brousseau       Theophile       son Joseph       and BAILLARGEON, Anathalie
(m)       St-Bernard, Beauce       1895-06-24
(x)       RHEAUME       Léa dau. Marcel R.       and MORIN, Marie
       (Theophile born) °1868       (where ?)       (died) †1948-10-17       St-Bernard

The marriage that precedes Theophile’s and five of the marriages that follow are the brothers of Theophile : Joseph, André, Gaudias, Francois, Omer, Cléophas Isaac.
The others that are listed afterwards : Joseph Théophile, Antonio (twice), Albert Napoléon, Louis, Bertrand, are the sons of Theophile also brothers of Joseph Louis married to Marie Rose Charland. I do not have the information about the marriage of Joseph Louis B. to Marie Rose Charland.

Let me know if there is still a mystery.

Gaston
