Hi Butch I sent an email to you the other day, I hope you received it.I am not sure if I sent it to the correct address so as impatient as I am I am re-sending it to you through GenForum.
Here is my original message to you.
Wow and double wow.I have been looking for info on David Brownell for a longgggg time. This David is buried in Brookfield, Wisconsin.I am not sure how he relates to me, but I think perhaps David and Roxanna's son or perhaps a nephew was Chauncey Brownell born in Genesee County, New York in 1816.
I have been looking for this particular Chauncey's parents forever.Chauncey Brownell is my third great grandfather. In fact I have info on Chauncey but no birth record and on his death certificate in EauClaire County, Wisconsin there is no parent written down.
Why I think there is some connection between David, Roxanna and Chauncey is because David and Roxanna are buried in the Brownell burial family plot in a cemetery in Brookfield, Wisconsin and just a few feet away is Julia Brownell who I know is the daughter of Chauncey and Adeline Brownell and is my gr-gr-grandmother.So David and Roxanna and Julia must be related in someway. The thing is I don't know if David andRoxanna are grandparents or aunt and uncle to Julia.
If you have any info on Julia Brownell and Chauncey/Adeline Brownell, I would appreciate it.Also any info on David, if he is father toChauncey and if not, who is he, who are his parents. If he is not Chauncey's father, he must relate somehow other to Chauncey and hopefully I can track Chauncey's parents that way.
This particularChauncey Brownell was born in Genesee County,New York in the town of Darien August of 1816.There are a couple other Chauncey Brownells but they were born outside of New York in different years.Because the name ofChauncey is so diffferent I am sure they all relate but just haven't figured out why.
IF Chauncey and David are not father/son, I don't know why or how they are connected.
I am sorry that this email is so long but I hope that by sending you SOME of what I have on the many Brownells that it would help you figure out my puzzle.
I must say receiving your email was a welcome sight for me.Ihave been searching for info on David and Roxanna for many years, no matter how they relate to my Chauncey. So let me thank you a hundred times over for any help you can give me.Send me everything you have, no matter how much or how little, I will happily receive it.
Once again thank you.Kathie Johnson of New Lenox, Illinois
