I'm so glad to meet you! We've lived in Talladega County all our lives. I don't know any Burgesses. If they weren't local my husband probably doesn't either.
I did not know about Molly Smith. I didn't even have Harriett's last name "officially" recorded. I think I'd seen reference to it, but had no idea where the information came from and hadn't put it into my FTM. I haven't got my site back up yet or I'd ask you to see what I'm missing when you had a chance. The domain name just had expired, but they didn't let it linger. I renewed it, but now I can't get the name resolved to the hosting account. Whatever that means. I'm missing something.
Most of the Browning men I know are big men. Broad shoulders, and "barrel" chested. Usually tall. Only one of my husband's 3 brothers looks like a Browning. Florence was his grandmother, so the Browning blood was already thinning in his generation, but it's hanging in there. They have a nephew who can't deny his Browning heritage.
I don't know that I ever heard about a Browning reunion. My mother-in-law didn't bother to tell us about things like that. There's one cousin in town that I run into fairly often and ride by another's house several times a week. This would be Florence's nephew. I keep saying I need to stop and visit and see what kind of pictures he has. Speaking of pictures, do you have any old ones?
