Thank you for that info because it did open up some doors for me. I don't know if you know about St. Louis having a website where you can view and print death records for free. http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/ In case you don't have that one.
But anyway I went back and looked up Estella Morgan and that was Stella. She died 2/17/1917 born in Arkansas, her father was John Thomas from LA. Mother Fannie Boone which is probably Fannie La May.
I'm not sure if Charles had died. I'm not sure if Fannie was a slave, but that would be sad but interesting.
Looked for Frankie Henderson on the death records and she died on 4/26/1941. Harrison was still living at that time. Her mother was Mary Ray Dorsey (Dolson).
Tommie died on 3/9/1939 at 48 yrs old. But I couldn't locate Rose Hughs. But its interesting that she moved to St. Louis also. I guess Young had died by then.
I found Young and Rose and all children on the 1900 census records from Hot Springs AR. Maybe the rest of the children were there or married and names changed and possibly moved to St. Louis also.
I guess it gets kind of confusing because I'm asking for info on paternal and maternal ancestors. But I really love doing this research. I am so thankful for you because I had hit a dead end. But if you find anymore info on any of those surnames I would really appreciate it.
