K.C. Brownjohn Passes Away at His Detroit Home - Former Fulda Resident Passes Away at Detroit Home - Left Fulda 1910 - Funeral services for the late K.C. Brownjohn, former Fulda businessman, were held at the M.E. Chruch at Detroit, on Saturday, September 10th.
Kenneth C. Brownjohn was born in the County of Sussex, England, in 1873, moving to the United States with his parents as a young man.Later he located in Fulda, where he engaged in the grain business.In 1904 he was united in marrige to Nellie M. Wilson, who with his three daughters, Nellie, Ida, and Jessie, remain to mourn his death.Other relatives are two sisters, Mrs. West and Mrs. Nottage, both of Detroit, and a brother, Martin Brownjohn, of Orgeon.
The deceased was a resident of Fulda until 1910 when he moved to Detroit.At the later place he was for some time manager of the Detroit Navigation Company, later conducting the Hotel Shoreham, and managing the Detroit Tannery.At the time of his death he was conducting a store in Detroit.FuldaFreePress10/2/1925Please e-mail me if you are interested in a copy of this article.
