thank you so much.So apparently I had my great grandfather's name wrong - it was James instead of John as in I know the middle name was Minton and my great grandmother was Sara Jane- so she is the "Jane" and her sisters were.....Elizabeth, Mary, and Mollie because I know that her mother was a Dunnavant which are related to the Mitchells (as in I believe Dunnavant may be a Gaelic word for "Mitchel" - so you have found my family tree.I will keep this info. This is also some info I had on James or John Minton Brownlow (whatever is accurate) - He was a pugalist (fist fighter) from Pulawski (not sure of the spelling) Tennessee - apparently as a hobby. He was a Unionist in the war between the states (Civil War). This is unusual - coming from the south. The Brownlows were all into acquiring land and farming etc. and then branching out into ranching when many migrated to Texas. Also there are Brownlows both in Giles County TN and Limestone County Alabama. You have lots of info - I would be so grateful if you can pass any on to me.I appreciate it.Thank you kindly, Bonnie
