Tina, the father of David Brumbelow is Edward Brumbelow ca 1710/1755 and probaly died in Anson Co. NC. Siblings of David who was born 1750 and died 1824 in Mecklenberg NC , were Jesse, Isaac, Edward, Elizabeth, and Solomon. My research has been on David and the other siblings are what i have picked up from other researchers papers. David bounced around between Anson Co. and Mecklenberg Co., but never left this area as most of his family migrated to Ga. He lived in a different district of Anson than rest of family. He signed a petition against a law passed in Anson Co. that removed their voting district farther away from central part of county. His brothers had all petitioned it to be moved along with others in their area. He also in 1821 had 445 acres attached by the Anson Co. government for taxes in arrear and was sold at auction in July of 1823 to satisfy his debt. He died shortly thereafter and his wife Amelia Medcalf Brumbelow along with her son-in-law Michael Henninger(married to their daughter Amy Brumbelow) sold the rest of his estate. At the present i don't know if Amelia left with Michael on migration trail, or died in NC. Amelia Medcalf Brumbelow was the daughter of William Medcalf born March 3 1741 in Queen Annes Maryland and died in July of 1798 in Anson Co. NC., and Amelia(unknown to me). In William Medcalf will he wills to his wife Amelia the home plantation and half of his movable assets. His son John the home plantation on the east side of the----Creek and an equal part of his estate."I will to my beloved daughter Ammey Brumbeloe-------one half of the place where they now live----joined in----with her---. He then gives portions to William, Joel, Emmanuel,Miriam,Nancy,Lydia, and son David. Our William Medcalf per another researcher is the son of William Medcalf born 1708 in Church Hill, Queen Annes Maryland and Anne Lowtherp born 1712 in Queen Annes Maryland, and married October 7 1733 in same place. Have not replied sooner since i did not have will to prove all of this.
