I've recently found an obituary card among my familly pictures, of JOHN P. BRUNELLE, who died on June 8, 1929. That card is written in english, with a small picture of John and a few prayers. No other data on it. I also found the obituary card of ROSE BRUNELLE, who died on November 19, 1933, aged 64 years, 5 months and 7 days. (so she was born around 12 June 1869). Only a few prayers also on that card. And I also found a picture of Rose Brunelle with 3 of her daughters: Anna (20 years), Emma (18 years) and Beatrice (14 years) in front of their home. So it is written on the back of that picture.
I suspect that these peoples were living in Winooski, Vermont, as there is peoples with the same names and corresponding ages living there in the 1910 and 1920 US census for Winooski.
I haven't been able to find the marriage certificate of Rose and John, neither the birth certificate of Anna, Emma and Beatrice.
My best guess is that Rose Brunelle was born Rose BLANCHARD, daughter of Pierre Blanchard and Heloise Legere from New-Brunswick, Canada. If so, Rose and John would have been my dad's aunt and uncle, and I have quite alot of pictures and informations on that Blanchard side to share.
Who are John Brunelle and Rose Brunelle? Anyone can help me?
Gerry Boudreau :-) (and yes, I am french-speaking.)
