Dear Norman - I have to apologise for not getting in touch any sooner! Two years is unforgivable. But I honestly never received notice of your follow up letting me know that you'd be happy to see the tree.

Forgive, if you can, the tardiness (assuming that you ever get this).I would have written my response in an email, but don't have yours. To invite you to my tree I have to have access to your email address (and I should more than understand your reluctance to just hand that out to a complete stranger) because, so far as I can tell, you do not subscribe/belong to ancestry.com.

Let me give you my email: fredandora@gmail.com

I should be happy to hear from you.And from your son - I too have an MA in History, earned, like my BA (same subject major), at Louisville. My concentration was, by default, American history; the focusses tended to be labour, women and the racial divide.

Here's hoping that you do get this. And that you and your family are well and that you are enjoying retirement.

All the very best,
Anne
