Richard Samuel Bryarly, born Frederick County, VA ca. 1768, married Lucy Helm 7 March 1793 same county. Residence: White Post near Winchester, Clark County, KY. They were parents of Tate Bryarly who married Mary Gray, daughter of James and Lucy (Webb) Gray. No further information on this family.
He was the older half-brother of Thomas Fitzhugh Bryarly who went to Red River County, TX ca. 1840, and married Mary Lupton and Mrs. Minerva Ann Oliver.
