I am looking for information on a distant relative. I have minimal info so far. His name was Ernolf Buchner, and he was said to be 'an innovator in bronze metallurgy.' His wife, Ludla Slitzweitz, was born in Knittelfeld,Styria (now Steiermark, Austria) in 1805. They were married in 1822, presumably in Graz. They lived in Strassburg, Elsass (now Strasbourg, Alsace, France) 1823-1838, and she died in Danzig (now Gdansk, Poland) in 1842. Ernolf had a brother named Gerolf. I have a little more information on Ludla, but not much else on Ernolf or Gerolf. The children of Ernolf and Ludla included Gertrude, Genevieve, Beatrice, Clarence, and Clement, most if not all born during the stay in Strassburg. All communications on the subject welcome.
