Keith Karlett Kenton Buckalew, 83, of Dunbar, passed away August 18, 2007, at Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired machinist with Mouldagraph Corporation and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Dunbar. Mr. Buckalew was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theater. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy H. and Orpha Dell Buckalew; sisters, Farel Virginia Mondy and Mildred Marie Buckalew; and by his brother, Worthy Hayden Buckalew. Surviving are his loving wife of 25 years, Mrs. Ruth P. Buckalew; daughters, Carletta Sue Hart and her husband, Charles, of Jennings, Fla., Sandra K. Young and her husband, Greg, of Charleston, Diana Lynn Giffen and her husband, David, of Louisville, Ky., Debra Rene Ramsey of Dunbar, Kimberly Dawn Haskin and her husband, Jay, and Kevina Carrillo of Fort Myers, Fla.; stepdaughter, Beryl Jean Poe of Dunbar; and stepson, Wayman Allen Poe of Cross Lanes. Mr. Buckalew is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Doyle D. Young officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, WV.
