Hi Stan, I would be very interested in sharing the information I have found on the Wallaces and Buffaloes and receiving any you have. There is a book on the Buffaloes, I have part of it on a computer file. Here is an excerpt about Burline's parents:
BUFFALOE, Fabius H.B&BP:ca 1828, Wake County, NC D&PD:ca 1855, Madison County, Alabama Father’s Name:William E. Buffaloe Father’s Name: Mother’s Name:Mahala Beasley Wife:Amanda Turner B&BP:ca 1829, Tennessee Mother’s Name:Margaret (?) Turner
Date & Place of Marriage:1 August 1848, Madison County, Alabama.
Children:Fabius and Amanda had Burline Genaira, William Elvet, James Samuel, and Margaret (Maggie). From Amanda’s 2nd marriage, Jasper N. Belew.
Fabius remained in Alabama and in contrast to his brothers, Tom and Rufus, he was not a fighter and was more of a preacher per William T. Buffaloe. He was a shoemaker by trade. After Fabius’ death, Amanda and Peter Belew were issued a license to marry on 21 October 1856.They had one son, Jasper N. Belew.
