From John Graham's Diary (he was a South Carolina Militia man)

Mar. 13th 1779 Sat.Started by Sunrise towards the Mouth of Bierr Creek had gone some Distance when our Flank-Guard gave Information of Signs of the Enemy, we pursued the Track some Distance but soon lost it, they having dispersed.Afterwards turned up the River towards the Saw-Mills,crossed McBean's Creek at Henderson's Mills. came up as far as Colo.Bugg's where he(Colonel LeRoy Hammond's Regiment) encamped.(This could have been Sherwood bugg who married Elizabeth Hobson or Edmund Bugg who married Obedience Hatcher).
