My 3g-grandmother Jane R. (Bunch) Robbirds ended up moving from Texas County, Missouri to Boone County, Arkansas during the Civil War with her son James David Robbirds and family. Her other son (my 2g-grandfather) William M. Robirds was in Texas for a while during the Civil War and spent some time at his uncle David Bunch's in Grayson County.
David Bunch left Texas apparently after the war for Sevier County, Arkansas - found there in the 1870 & 1880 census.
I know there were many Bunch families in northern Arkansas (including ancestors of our new President), but I have never been able to attach my Roberts families to any other Bunch. (David's first wife was also a Roberts.)
My Roberts moved through E. Tennessee between the Rev. War and 1842, including Washington/Carter, Grainger, Anderson and Hamilton counties. Just look for the Roberts with the Vandergriffs (my 4g-grandparents William Roberts and Ann Vandergriff).
I know my 3g-grandfather's brother Jacob Roberts was a veteran of the War of 1812, and am suspicious that both my 3g and 4g-grandfathers (both William Roberts out of Anderson Co) may have been also.
