The info I have was from research done by a man named Forrest Palmer. He provides sources for some of his research, but not all of it.
The info says that Henry came to America on the ship Phillips from London. He and his family travelled up the Delaware River and made their home at Burlington, New Jersey. In the document, Mr. Palmer writes "The reference was sent to me by a Mr. Haynes, who was related to Henry by marriage...I am indebted to Mr. Haynes for some of these notes which were lost from my binder and I no longer have his address which I regret very much."
As you can see, I don't have a solid source for this information, but it is definitely interesting.
Henry and his family probably arrived in New Jersey some time between 1677 and 1708, because Burlington City was founded in 1677 and Henry's grandson Joseph was born in New Jersey in 1708.
Some day soon, I am going to type up ALL of the info from Mr. Palmer (as well as my own info) into my computer and maybe post it on the Internet somehow. I will announce it on the message board. Stay tuned!
Just in case you lose track of me on the message boards, my e-mail address is Joseph.A.Burcham@census.gov.
