Sarah, I'm happy to share what I have.Feel free to email me (see my reply above).Below is my transcription of John Sr.'s indenture of 1773.He actually had 7 sons, but the indenture doesn't mention Jesse, son of John Sr.'s second wife. The indenture was written in 1773, possibly when John Sr. was about to be remarried and he wanted to ensure the children of his first wife were provided for (not my original idea, but it makes sense to me).His 7th son Jesse was born about 1780, and John Sr. died in late 1783 or early 1784, when the indenture was recorded in Wilkes County, Georgia.
As for the DAR, I've successfully gotten John Jr. reinstated as a patriot because I found proof that he was granted land as a Revolutionary Soldier under the Act of 20 Aug 1781 (the land grant was approved on 15 Mar 1784, which was AFTER John Sr. died, since John Sr.'s indenture was recorded 28 Jan 1784).Unfortunately, John Sr. died before either land grants or pensions could be given to him.Since family lore says he fought with Elijah Clarke and the militia, we may never find records to prove John Sr.'s service to the DAR, which (rightly) requires strong evidence.
Unfortunately, I don't know much about Isaac's line, since I'm descended from his older brother John Jr.
