I am told James' mother's name was Cynthia but no proof. They lived in the area of the St. Mary's River and rumor has it the name was changed Burnside to Burnsed. Possibly spelling errors of those times. he worked the river moving logs and later a carpenter. He built a house on what is now the Glen St. Mary Nursery. Mrs. Taber, at the nursery, remembers him and she would visit him during the day after he retired from woodworking. He raised his family on this property until he died.
