william henry burrows was born approx 1861 he lived at 112,burns street burnley -also 13 bar street burnley, william henry burrows was a master baker and owned his own bakers shop, he was also in the order of "the grand order of the oddfellows" which had its building in yorkshire street burnley. he died 28th october 1933 in victoria hospital aged 72 years and was buried in burnley cemetery .
he married alice ann (no maiden name )
he had two sons : james richard burrows born approx 1891 died 20-22 june 1916 of wounds in the first world war. he servered in the 12 battalion-east lancashire reigement (nick named the accrington pals) service rank on death was private - army number was 15561. and he his buried in couin british war cemetery france.
he was married to M:E Burrows (nee Lord) and lived at 23 whalley street ,burnley. and had one daughter: no name.
second son : william burrows born 1902 died 19th october 1916 aged 14 ; buried , burnley cemetery.
willaim henry burrows also had a number of daughters : ada riley (nee burrows) born 28th october 1884, died 20th august 1978 aged 94 she passed away at 302 liverpool road patricorft , eccles, manchester , buried in burnley cemetery with the burrows family. she was a weaver in the burnley mills. she had three daughters ada maden(nee riley) annie riley and may riley;she also had one son james riley.
there where also at least two other daughters possible up to four maud burrows , else burrows . confirmed names ... possible one or two more daughters , possible a sissy burrows
there was also a grandson jack westerwell ; born 1922 died 7th october 1932 aged 10also buried burnley cemetery .
