If Pietro Cesare is the son of Andrea and therefore an Alberti of Venice! Than the family crest is exately the one mentioned by Passerini. In such a case if you happen to pass by San Miniato or Santa Croce in Florence, you will see very nice examples, as well as on the tower in via dei Bardi and Canto agli Alberti.
If you are in Venice there is another very nice example of the same on the tomb of Duccio degli Alberti in the curch I Frari.
The crest comes from Catenaia (name that contains the word "chain") a mountain north of Arezzo, from where these Alberti migrated with Rustico to Florence around 1150 aC. If you want to know more on the topic, just let me know.
