RE: "Another branch came from somewhere else in Germany"... "Pennsylvania German Pioneers, A Publication of the Original Lists of Arrivals in the Port of Philadelphia from 1727 to 1808, by Ralph Beaver Strassburger, L.L.D., President of the Pennsylvania German Society, Edited by William John Hinke, Ph.D., D.D. in Three Volumes.Vol. 1 1727 - 1775; Pennsylvania German Society, Norristown, Pensylvan 1934; located at the Multnomah Co., Library in Portland Oregon pg 536, 537, 538 lists as follows:[List 202A] Lists of Male Names on Board the Ship Leathley, 19 Sept. 1753..Henr. Busman, Ands Busman, Hen Bosman...and 49 others."I have extensive information on these families, and yes, one of the subsequent branches joined the Mormon Church presumably in Ohio, however, other Branches of those original Bushmans from Mackensen, Germany went on to become Methodists and Presbyterians, most having branches that also immigrated to various parts of Ohio. The two major branches descending from the nine listed were "untangled" several years ago by Mary W. Carroll of the Mormon branch and Jean Bonham of Pennsylvania.I am indepted to both of these ladies for the reseach they have provided.
