Buttrum and Magdalene Stutts.William was born abt. 1826 in Tennessee and Magdalene was born abt. 1831 in Ohio.They were married 15 Mar. 1850 in Johnson Co., Indiana.Their children (in 1860) were:William A. b. 1852 in Indiana, John H. b. 1853 in Indiana and died 5 Dec 1944 in Benton Co., Arkansas, James M. b. 14 Nov 1855 and d. 25 Dec 1921 in Missouri, and Livena C. b. 1859. The father of William Buttrum was John Buttrum b. abt. 1790 in North Carolina and Julia b. abt. 1804 in North Carolina.According to the 1850 and 1860 census in Johnson and then Brown counties in Indiana, their children were:William E. b. 1826, Malinda b. 1828 in Tennessee, Suzana b. 1829 in Tennessee, Sina Ann b. 16 Mar. 1840 in Indiana and died 10 Jan. 1860 in Hemsley Twp., Brown, Indiana, Tilman H. b. 1842 in Indiana, and Julia Ann b. 1843 in Indiana.Hope this helps and I'll let you know if I find more info!
