We are talking about the same person.Callie, who wrote the letter, is Mary Callie Buzbee b. 12/10/1864.I've corrected some of my records since I posted the orig. response, and it does appear Hudson's wife was Mary Elizabeth Carson Arnold.I show Hudson's birthday as 10/03/1834.He was born in Coosa, AL.His parents were Ella T. A. Allison and Jeremiah Buzbee.Hudson died in Tuscaloosa, AL, June 1913.I showed him as Hudson Hall Buzbee, but it appears his name is Hall Hudson Buzbee. My grandmother identified him in the photo as "Grandpa Hudson".Callie refers to your great grandfather in the letter as "Bascom".My grandmother referred to him by that name also.I show his middle name was "Bascomb", but that may be incorrect.A younger sibling, Alice Buzbee, was called "Allie" by the siblings.Callie wrote the letter 2/17/18, and she is requesting a bonnet pattern for a Mrs. Quinn's baby.I have a letter from Rison, Ark. from Stella Quinn dated 5/27/19 where she is inquiring of the sudden death of Mrs. Porter, whom I am assuming is Callie.
My grandmother, Virginia's daughter, passed away June 30, 2005.She had a shoe box in her closet with all these items.I knew they would be important to the family, so I scanned them onto a cd, and returned the originals.I made sure her daughter, also named Virginia ("Jennie Belle") got possession of the original shoe box. You'll have to give me some time to dig up the original c.d., as I moved and kept a lot of things in storage.I will try to get the items to you without a great delay.
