What I have about this branch of the Byram family started from Mark Byram's book "The Byrom Chronicle."In his book he stated that there were two sets of three brothers that sailed from England to Virginia in the early 1700's.The spelling of the names were om, um, and am and in documents were used interchangeably.
Four generations down I have a James Byrum, born 1781 and died in 1840.He and Hannah P. Williamson had:Martha Carolyn, Rebecca, Susan, Hannah Permilia (b.1815), Upton Williamson (b.1816), James A. Byram (b.1817), Martha Carolyn (b.1827)[strange, I seem to have that one twice], Jane A. Byram (b.1827) [strange, I missed seeing that as you had me looking for 1806], John F. H., Andrew J. Byram (b.1833).
I do see that my Jane A. Byram, born in 1827, married 22 Nov 1860, to a John Kelly (born abt. 1836).That is strange too as the man is usually older.I do have mistakes in the book as I have entered what people have sent me.
The source for all this is listed in my book.Does This connect?I have more on some of the children.I carry their line down to the present on a lomited few. Also I would have to check that all of this is in my 1996 book.I have added to my data base as new information comes in.
