The Cadieuxs in Derry would be my grandmother's family.
Joseph Cadieux (1875-1935) was from Roxton Falls, Que., and moved to Derry, NH, abt. 1888 to work in the shoe factory. His wife was Blanche Demers (1878-1959). They had nine children: Valeda, Rosina, Rachel (Comeau), Gabrielle (Legendre), Juliette, Germaine, Lucy (Clark), Edward, and John.
Edward lives in Tampa, Fla., and John still lives in Derry. John told me his grandmother was full-blooded Indian. This may or may not be Marie Bourdon.
I am beginning to think that Joseph's brother was Victor Cadieux, whom Nancy Robinson mentioned.
