Joseph Cady (1788-1868) and his Brother Benjamin(178x) moved into the Western Reserve area of Ohio with Many other Connecticut families. They were the son's of Chester Cady of Litchfield,NY. Chester probably came from Eastern Connecticut and was tracked back to Nicholas Cady of Watertown,MA. The family is listed in Descendants of Nicholas Cady.
His wife is listed in Descendants of Antidel #174 He married to Phebe Antisdel in Geauga, Ohio on September 9, 1816.Phebe's parents were Curtis & Sarah (Parker??) Antisdel. Children Sarah Ann(17)Perez(1820)CurtisTisdel(1822) Freeman(1824)Henry Parker(1828)Chester(1831)Oscar Henry(1835)Joseph Newton(1835) There is a connection, Phebe Tisdel was married to Joseph Cady, and she is the daughter of Curtis Ttisdel, [Antisdel family is the same], she is the 4 generation, the grand father is Silas A T isdel from Connecticut, moved to Ohio with son, Curtis and family in 1812-1813, in Madison, Ohio, reason I know this is I am trying to pin point this house in Madison to Curtis Tisdel which I believed built the house, which is dated 1825, I am no relation, but got interested in his family roots, cause of the house, and know alot so far on his life, I have the family line, most everything, except for his roots in Connecticut! if you get this, please respond, I will gladly forward the documents to you if you'd like.
