John Cady - date of Will 1571
I was looking into the Origin of Nicholas Cady b 1588 and I found others listed Nicholas Cutt of Suffolk Co, English. I found several Surname Cade/Cady who were around well Before
Mr Cutt. The name might be on the Domesday book from 1086 but as Cade.It appears the first record was the Pipe-rolls
under Henry II The name is of tenantS on the Earl of Norfolk
lands. I was watching the Vikings on the History Channel and their leaders were Earls, leading me to think about the Viking connection. Y=DNA tests show 17% of those tested in Norfolk are related to Nicholas Cady, this is second only to the Islands off the coast and Sweden (19% and 22%)All these related are likely of Dane (Viking) roots.
Mr Cutt and John Cady were listed as from Suffolk. which was originally settled by the Jutes. The Jutes came from Denmark, but their descendents are less than 4%.
