"Wm.(1)'s DOB is about 1610, his spouse was Deliverance Peck DOB 1637 in Hingham, Plymouth Co., MA. They were married in 1670 in Rehoboth, MA."
According to the above, you are saying that William was 60 years old when he married Deliverance... that just does not seem right, does it?
True, sometimes folks did marry a second time, at 'mature' ages and maybe he was able to father Deliverance's children... but... it just does not sound right to me... women were rather scarce and I should think she would have picked someone closer to her own age... besides, it doesn't stand to reason that an older fellah would have been sent out as a "runner"?
Sooooooo.... I was wondering, what proof exists of his age?And why do you say he was born about 1610?
Genuinely curious, Colleen Cahoon... a descendant as well... :)
