Back in 2001, a researcher named Vern Paul rescued an old Victorian photo album from an antique mall in Wyoming. He posted here to try and find a direct descendent of Charles Cain that would claim it.
Included in that post was the description of the oldest picture in the album--a tintype mounted in paper and inscribed "Aunt Phoebe Bean Cain".
I have been in communication with Vern Paul and he says that he doesn't recall who he mailed the album to back in 2001. His email history was lost and he's unable to track it by that means.
I am doing research for a dear friend who is a direct descendant of Phoebe Bean Cain. Phoebe is her 2nd great-grandmother. I would like very much to connect her with at least a digital copy of the tintype.
Can anyone help me locate the present owner of the album? Thank you.

CHARLES CAIN, et al Victorian Photograph Album Red Velvet Cover with Gilt Lettering purchased April 7, 2001 CY Antique Mall, Casper, Wyoming
Although the album is inscribed "Mrs. G. Vruwink", most of the pictures appear to relate to the family of Charles Cain of Wisconsin. One picture is of Charles Cain and six adult males who appear to be his sons; a matching picture is likely "Mrs" Cain and her daughters, four adult, and two juvenile. These pictures are a pair and were taken in Hingham, Wis., about 1890 or so.
Most pictures date from mid-1880s to 1900. Locations of photo studios and/or pencil notations are primarily Sheboygan and Hingham, Wisconsin, but also include Cascade, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Oconomowoc, Plymouth, Pt. Washington, and West Bend, Wisconsin; plus a few from Petaluma, California; and one each from Alameda, California; Placerville, California; Paola, Kansas; Missoula, Montana; and San Antonio, Texas.
