Bob Pj here. The Calderwoods of Penn., State can be divided into two groups the ones that came directly from Scotland and the other as you stated Ireland. The latter group stems from the English transplanting of scots to the Ulster area of Ireland. The Early Calderwoods to the state look like the groups whos head was named James C and Cathrine Mcdonald who settled the Tryone area 1760to 1770 time period. Full pedigree can be found on web though a james Clanin. The next migration happen about 1820 though the 40s and this group we are still looking for the connection's with all of the family branches. In the city of tyrone there is a nice Calderwood cemetary with a information dating back to the eary 1800s. Any other help write Pj.
