He married PHOBE COLLEY 1823 in South Carolina, daughter of ROBERT COLLEY and MARY KELLY. She was born 1805 in South Carolina, and died 25 May 1886 in Arkansas.

Ben Parris III file: She died In Arkansas after eating poisoned honey. She apparently lived with her son William T. Parris. William and Nthaniel Pickney had moved to Arkansas prior to 1883. Name has been listed as Calley and Colley.

Abstract:
"Parris Phoebe- - Died at residence of her daughter Mrs. Louisa Calley in Ark. on May 25. Cause was poisoned honey. Had lived in Paulding Co. 40 years, move to Arkansas a year ago. 6/25/86".
