I am the Web Administrator for www.CalmesFamily.comThis month (February 2002) we added about 800 additional direct descendants of Marquis Calmes to the Web site, which has caused people to move to different pages.Google "spidered" our site on Feb 25th and we are waiting for it to update its index, which should happen any day now. After that, Google will point to the correct pages.
Major Fielding H. Calmes is now #302 and is on this page:
If you still cannot find him on this page, your Web browser may have "cached" the old page and may be serving you up the old page.To fix this, press your "Refresh" or "Reload" button on your Web Browser.
I am not sure which "Marcus Richardson" you are looking for. Here are a few:
-- Marquis Calmes Richardson (1763-1821) son of Isabella Calmes and William Richardson is on this page:

I have a copy of a transcipt of an interview done in 1937 with a slave from Newberry, South Carolina, who states that her master was "Dr. Felix Calmes."In talking with Calmes Family Researchers, they believe she must have been referring to Dr. Fielding Calmes. We will post this transcript within the week.
When you cite to this Web site, please cite to "Calmes Family Heritage" by Cheryl A. Sellers.By the way, this is an unofficial site, but I have been getting a lot of cooperation from other Calmes Family Researchers.Thank you all.
We will not be re-generating the Web site for at least two or three months, however, we are finding hundreds of additional descendants every month.Eventually, we will have to re-generate the Web site and people may move around again. You can always find them again by stepping down the generations from Marquis Calmes.
